HCE is seeking experienced Final Trim Grader Operators for an immediate start on a major TMR road construction project located in Central QLD. This is an opportunity to join a reputable civil contractor delivering critical infrastructure works in the Central Queensland region. The successful candidate will have proven experience operating final trim graders to a high standard, a strong understanding of GPS and UTS machine control systems, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Operate graders safely and efficiently
- Complete final trim, stabilisation, and earthworks to project specifications
- Utilise GPS and UTS machine control systems to achieve accurate results
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
- Work collaboratively with site crews to meet project deadlines
- Follow all site safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Read and interpret plans, levels, and project requirements
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy
About you
- Proven experience operating graders with stabilisation work
- Robust attention to detail and safety focus
- RII Grader & Excavator ticket
- Construction white/blue card
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
