About us:

The Australian Centre of Complex Integrated Surgical Solutions (ACCISS) was established in August 2018 to consolidate virtual computational surgical planning services at Metro South Hospital & Health Service (MSHHS) and the Queensland Children's Hospital (QCH). The establishment and continued operations of ACCISS has been generously spported by Translational Research Institute (TRI) throughout.

ACCISS sits in the Division of Surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) and provides novel computational approaches in the development and planning of complex surgical interventions which include the manufacture of surgical guides, Three Dimensional (3D) printed anatomical models, soft robotic prostheses as well as performing digital signal processing investigations of clinical imaging data to support virtual surgical planning approaches.
