Sense Therapies is growing and we are looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our fun, play-based paediatric team in Bulli & Kiama. We are a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed clinic supporting children and families through connection, movement and joy, working across clinic, school, home and community settings in the beautiful Illawarra and Shoalhaven. Sense Therapies was founded by Occupational Therapist Carlien Parahi and Australian Rugby Olympian Jesse Parahi, the founders of the Sense Sports program that runs across Australia and New Zealand. You will have the opportunity to work closely with, and do joint work alongside, the Sense Sports Foundation in the development of innovative sports-based therapy programs. This role suits a Speech Pathologist who loves meaningful relationships, creative therapy and seeing children thrive in environments that truly support them.
About the role
A diverse paediatric caseload, assessment and therapy: early language development, speech, language, literacy, social communication, feeding and AAC. Therapy that is play-based and child-led, grounded in neuro-affirming and strengths-based practice, and embedded in real life: play, movement, community experiences and daily routines. Sessions in our purpose-built clinic and in schools, homes and the community, depending on each child's needs. A flexible caseload shaped around your interests, strengths and the areas you want to grow in. Frequent, structured supervision, collaborative case discussions and day-to-day support from an experienced multidisciplinary team.
