Lead the operations of a high-performing mortgage brokerage writing $300m+ annually.

Ikaya Finance is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operational performance of our growing business.

This is a genuine leadership role for someone who loves bringing structure to a fast-moving environment, developing people, improving processes and making sure a high-performing team has everything it needs to deliver.

Working closely with Janine Wade, you will lead the operational function across our onshore and offshore teams and play a key role in helping Ikaya Finance continue to grow.

This isn't a senior administration role.

We're looking for someone who can lead the operation, not simply work within it.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for the people, processes, systems, workflow and operational rhythm that sit behind a high-volume mortgage brokerage.

You'll have oversight across administration and loan support, analysts, pipeline/associate brokers and our offshore function, working through the offshore team leader to ensure both teams operate as one.

Your role will be to create visibility, accountability and consistency across the business.

You'll know what's moving, what's stuck, where capacity is tight and what needs attention — and you'll have the confidence and authority to do something about it.

What You'll Own

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and developing the onshore operational team

- Managing the offshore function through the Offshore Team Leader

- Maintaining oversight of the end-to-end lending pipeline

- Managing workflow, priorities and team capacity

- Ensuring clear accountability and ownership across the team

- Identifying bottlenecks and resolving operational issues

- Improving processes, procedures, workflows and checklists

- Driving better utilisation of BrokerEngine, AFG systems and supporting technology

- Identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency

- Establishing and monitoring operational KPIs and service standards

- Supporting recruitment,



onboarding and development of team members

- Maintaining high standards of file quality and operational compliance

- Working with lenders, AFG and other key business partners on operational matters

- Continually improving the client experience as the business grows

Importantly, we don't expect you to personally solve every problem.

We expect you to build an operation where problems are identified early, ownership is clear and the team is equipped to solve them.

What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced operational leader who is comfortable working in a high-volume, high-expectation environment.

You're someone who can zoom out and see the bigger picture while still understanding what's happening on the ground.

You'll bring a combination of people leadership, operational discipline and commercial thinking.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Experience leading teams in mortgage broking, lending, financial services or a similar high-volume environment

- Strong understanding of mortgage processing and lending workflows

- Demonstrated experience managing and developing people

- Strong workflow and pipeline management capability

- Experience managing both onshore and offshore resources

- Confidence using data and KPIs to manage performance

- Strong process improvement and problem-solving skills

- The ability to prioritise and make decisions under pressure

- Confidence working with senior stakeholders, lenders and business partners

- Strong technology capability and an interest in automation and continuous improvement

Experience with BrokerEngine and AFG would be highly regarded.

- Janine can focus more of her time on leadership, key relationships, clients and growing the business
