We are seeking an organised, capable and people-focused Business Manager to join our school team.

This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.36FTE), 26 hours per fortnight.

Assisted learning is well catered for by full time teacher aides in each classroom and support teaching staff visiting the school weekly. Small classes provide personal learning for the more advanced while supporting those students they may need more care and attention. Your opportunity:
As the Business Manager you will be responsible for the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing corporate services and administrative support to the Principal.
You will work within well-defined guidelines to provide advice and offer solutions to key stakeholders (external and internal) on business related problems (e.g. human resources, finance and facilities management), and have responsibility for autonomously delivering on priorities, seeking expert advice, adapting processes, problem solving and providing solutions according to clear outcomes, with regular guidance by the Principal.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day administration and office operations of the school, including records, correspondence, appointments and OneSchool.
- Supervise and support school administration staff, including workloads, performance, rosters, leave, recruitment, induction and training.
- Assist the Principal with budgeting and financial management, including accounts, banking, reconciliations and corporate cards.
- Coordinate school facilities, assets, maintenance and resources, including contractors and minor works.
- Arrange technology support and maintenance for school equipment and systems.
- Prepare and coordinate school documents, reports, minutes, newsletters and correspondence.
- Manage competing priorities and problem-solving in a busy and changing school environment.
- Build positive relationships with staff, students, parents, community members and external stakeholders, providing professional and empathetic support.
- Work collaboratively to ensure school operations meet policies, compliance and legislative requirements.
