We are seeking a reliable and motivated Prepack Supervisor to join our pre-pack team and help deliver quality products to our customers.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager - Larapinta, the Prepack Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily prepack activities, supervising employees and labour hire workers, and ensuring orders are packed accurately, safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be a practical and organised supervisor who is comfortable working in a fast-paced fresh produce environment and supporting operational activities as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate daily prepack production activities.
- Allocate employees and labour hire workers according to production requirements.
- Supervise, support and provide clear instructions to the prepack team.
- Monitor production progress against daily targets and customer deadlines.
- Ensure products are packed, labelled and presented according to customer specifications.
- Check product quality throughout the packing process.
- Coordinate stock, packaging materials and production requirements.
- Work closely with quality, stock control, ripening, warehouse and dispatch teams.
- Maintain accurate production, traceability and stock records.
- Monitor waste, rework and packing efficiencies.




- Conduct pre-start discussions and provide on-the-job training.
- Assist with packing, equipment operation and general production duties when required.

About You

Essential

- Previous experience supervising a prepack, production, manufacturing or warehouse team.
- Strong people coordination and team leadership skills.
- Experience planning workloads and meeting daily production targets.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Valuable communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Sound computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Desirable

- Experience within fresh produce, food manufacturing, packing or cold storage operations.
- Experience coordinating labour hire employees.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality assurance and product traceability requirements.
- Experience using production, inventory or warehouse management systems.
- Forklift Licence (LF).
- Food Safety, HACCP or similar training.
