Clear Gas is an Australian-owned specialty gas company specialising in the preparation and supply of calibration gas mixtures in small portable cylinders.

We are a growing business with a strong focus on quality, safety, accuracy and customer service. As we continue to expand our production capabilities, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our team.

About the Role

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day cylinder preparation, filling and handling of specialty and calibration gas mixtures.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, follows procedures carefully and is able to work in a fast paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating gas filling and production equipment.
- Preparing cylinders, including inspection, assembly and other pre-filling activities.
- Connecting and disconnecting cylinders, manifolds and gas lines safely.
- Following production work instructions and batch documentation.
- Checking cylinder identification, labels and production information.
- Performing basic production checks and recording results accurately.
- Supporting sampling and testing activities as required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe production area.
- Assisting with cylinder handling, stock control and dispatch when required.
- Following Clear Gas quality,



safety and environmental procedures at all times.
- Working closely with the production, laboratory and warehouse teams to meet customer requirements and delivery timelines.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Reliable and committed to doing a job properly.
- Practical and hands-on, with good attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with procedures, instructions and documented processes.
- Safety-conscious, particularly when working with compressed gases and chemicals.
- Willing to learn about specialty gases, gas mixtures and cylinder handling.
- Able to work independently while also being a supportive team member.
- Physically capable of safely handling gas cylinders and production equipment.
- Comfortable working in a small-business environment where flexibility and initiative are valued.

Qualifications & Experience

Technical, engineering, science or chemical qualification would be an advantage

Previous experience in chemical manufacturing, laboratory work, warehousing or a similar workplace would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

Full training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
