Akooramak Care of the Older Person is looking for Direct Care Workers- to assist with our Residential Service.
Based in Warwick, Qld, we are a community owned and operated organisation, and have been part of the local community since 1876.
Our Residential Care Service has a variety of shifts available including Mornings, Afternoons, Night, and Weekend shifts on a rotating basis. N
We have shifts available in our Dementia Support Unit, Bromley Court for the right candidate.
During your residential shift you will:
- Provide personal care and physical and emotional support to older people who require assistance with daily living.
- Participate in the development and review of person centred care plans; complete charting and report any observed changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment for everyone;
- Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurses

What we need from you
Your experience and qualifications for this role should include:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Certificate III in Aged Care- or working towards;
- Current National Police Check or the ability to obtain.
