Join a leading financial services organisation as a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Platform Engineer,
Your new roleAs a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Platform Engineer, taking ownership of Microsoft Azure and a hybrid infrastructure environment, you’ll deliver secure, resilient and scalable cloud solutions while improving automation, reliability and operational performance across Azure, VMware, networking, Cloudflare and private cloud platforms.This is a hands-on senior engineering role where you’ll manage complex incidents, drive platform improvements and build repeatable infrastructure using Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
What you'll need to succeed

- Strong hands-on experience engineering and supporting Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
- Solid Azure expertise across networking, compute, storage, identity integration and connectivity
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
- Automation and scripting skills using PowerShell, Python or similar technologies
- Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong infrastructure knowledge across VMware, networking, DNS, load balancing,



firewalls and secure connectivity
- Proven experience supporting complex, business-critical production environments
- Robust troubleshooting, incident management and problem-resolution skills
- Experience within financial services, banking or another regulated environment will be highly regarded
