Enterprise Architect contract within Super Industry
Your New CompanyJoin a leading organisation within the superannuation industry embarking on a major transformation program. With a strong focus on digital innovation, customer experience, automation, and security uplift, this organisation is investing heavily in modernising its technology landscape to support members through every stage of their retirement journey. This contract will run through to June 2027 and can be performed remotely from anywhere in Australia.
Your New RoleWe are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong Azure background and proven superannuation industry experience to play a pivotal role across two major strategic programs.Approximately 50% of your time will be focused on the Member Services Program, which consists of three key projects covering Correspondence, Customer Identity, and Registry Process Automation. Working alongside project-aligned architects, you will provide architectural governance, ensure adherence to enterprise standards and methodologies, and deliver oversight across all initiatives.The remaining 50% of the role will support the Retirement Program, where you will help define and evolve target-state architecture, reference architecture, product design, digital platforms, and customer-facing web experiences.In addition, you will bring a strong security architecture capability, partnering closely with Solution Architects to ensure secure-by-design outcomes across strategic programs spanning Retirement, Investments, Workforce Management, and Core Back Office Systems. You'll also contribute to the uplift of the organisation's broader architectural security practices and governance frameworks.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Extensive Enterprise Architecture experience within large, complex environments.
- Demonstrated experience working within the superannuation industry (essential).
- Solid Azure architecture expertise across cloud, integration, security, and enterprise platforms (essential).
- Proven ability to provide architectural governance and oversight across multiple projects and programs.
- Experience developing target-state architectures, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
- Security Architecture experience, including secure solution design and architectural assurance.
- Exposure to digital platforms, customer-facing applications, automation initiatives, and enterprise transformation programs.
