Hays Construction & Property is partnering with a respected civil contractor with a strong reputation for delivering land development and civil infrastructure projects throughout South Australia.Due to continued project awards and a healthy pipeline of work, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to join the team and oversee projects across subdivisions, bulk earthworks, road construction and associated civil infrastructure works.

Your new role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising subcontractors, plant operators and site personnel
- Coordinating earthworks, roadworks, drainage and service installation activities
- Managing daily site operations and construction programmes
- Driving safety, quality and environmental compliance
- Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
- Monitoring project progress and reporting on key milestones
- Ensuring works are delivered efficiently and in accordance with project specifications





What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience as a Civil Site Supervisor, Site Manager or Leading Supervisor
- Strong experience delivering subdivision developments
- Exposure to bulk earthworks, roadworks, stormwater and civil infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site crews
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and civil construction methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- The ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
