Your current role:As a Building Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the project lifecycle from tender enquiry through to completion and defect close-out. Acting as a key liaison between clients, suppliers and internal teams, you'll ensure projects are set up for success and delivered in line with client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing project workflows from tender request through to submission and handover
- Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients and projects
- Coordinating contracts, purchase orders and project documentation
- Preparing and submitting minor works and variation quotations
- Monitoring project milestones and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders
- Providing regular progress reporting to clients and management
- Supporting construction teams during handover and defect management processes
- Maintaining client specifications, records and project documentation
- Identifying issues, resolving workflow challenges and escalating where required
What you'll need to succeed:To be successful in this position, you'll be a highly organised and customer-focused professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities and building strong stakeholder relationships.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in construction administration, project coordination, client services or a similar role
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies
- Experience managing documentation, data and client systems or portals
- Confidence working across multiple projects simultaneously
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
Experience within residential construction, pre-site coordination, building administration or knowledge of building regulations and permits will be highly regarded.
