AVANI Cypress Lakes Resort and AVANI WELL are looking for a skilled and motivated Demi Chef to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.

This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, cooking, and presentation, while helping deliver a high-quality dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.
- Assist in the development and plating of high-quality meals.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety, hygiene, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure effective service and smooth operations.




- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff where required.
- Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and kitchen efficiency improvements.

Shift Details (subject to change):

- Part-time or full-time positions may also be available, depending on business requirements
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
- Shifts may include breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $39.19per hour
Saturday: $46.95 per hour
Sunday: $ 54.78 per hour
