Machine Operator | Reinforcement Steel | Wetherill Park
Transcend Workforce is seeking experienced Machine Operators from steel reinforcement, sheet metal, aluminium or heavy manufacturing backgrounds to join a busy steel reinforcement workshop in Wetherill Park.
You’ll be operating cutting and bending machines in a rapid-paced environment, with paid training provided on day shift.
Duties will include
- Operate steel cutting and bending machines
- Monitor machines during operation
- Check finished products against bar schedules
- Follow company safety and quality procedures
- Complete training to operate different machines
- Keep your work area clean and tidy
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A strong focus on safety and quality
- Basic hand tool skills to set up machines and bundle finished products (training provided)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
- Must have working rights in Australia that allow you to work full-time hours
Experience from a heavy manufacturing environment is essential for this role.
