One of Australia's leading automotive workshop, Sydney Prestige Tyres and Auto Pty Ltd , based in Cabramatta is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic.

Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose faults in motor vehicles

Discuss problems with drivers to discover faults

Dismantle or remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms or other components, and checks parts

Repair or replace worn or defective parts, and reassemble mechanical components

Test and adjust repaired sub-assemblies, and re-install them

Tune engines to achieve smoother running and ensure compliance with pollution regulations

Re-line and adjust brakes

Change oil and filters,



and lubricate vehicles or fuelled motor appliances

Inspect and service emission control systems and petrol fuel systems

Repair steering systems, suspension systems and hydraulic braking systems

Carry out service operations and diagnostic procedures

Experience Required : At least one year’s experience in a similar field.
