Industrial Electrician

Brisbane-based | Full-Time | Industrial Projects

CanDoIt Solutions is a growing electrical, controls, and automation business seeking a capable Industrial Electrician to join our team in a full-time role.

This position suits an electrician with solid industrial experience who can work independently, take ownership of their work, and contribute to technically interesting projects across a range of industries.

Our work spans food & beverage, manufacturing, critical infrastructure, and more , delivering electrical installations, upgrades, fault-finding, and commissioning support.

About the Role

You’ll be involved in a broad range of industrial electrical work, including:

- Industrial electrical installation, testing, and maintenance

- Control panel wiring, MCC installation, and motor control systems

- VSD and PLC field wiring

- Fault finding and diagnostics on electrical and control systems

- Reading, interpreting, and red-lining electrical drawings, schematics, and cable schedules

- Supporting commissioning of new plant and equipment

- Working closely with engineers, automation specialists,



and project managers

This role requires someone comfortable working with minimal supervision and delivering high-quality work on active sites.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

- Queensland Electrical Licence (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic)

- Proven industrial electrical experience in manufacturing, processing, or similar environments

- Strong understanding of motor control, instrumentation, and industrial wiring practices

- Ability to read and work from electrical drawings independently

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Commitment to safe work practices and quality outcomes

- Current Australian driver’s licence

Desirable (Not Mandatory)

- PLC or automation exposure (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, etc.)

- Experience in food & beverage, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure environments

- Instrumentation or commissioning experience

- Hazardous Area experience or exposure

- Confined space and working at heights tickets
