About Yatri Motors

Yatri Motors is a growing automotive service and repair business based in Carlisle, Western Australia. We provide reliable and qualified vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs, including logbook servicing, diagnostics, brakes and clutch repairs, suspension, tyres, batteries, air conditioning, cooling systems, engine repairs and general mechanical work.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles. You will work as part of a professional team and provide high-quality workmanship while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled servicing, logbook servicing and general vehicle maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out repairs to engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling and exhaust systems.
- Inspect vehicles and identify faults or potential safety issues.
- Carry out brake, clutch, battery, tyre and suspension repairs and replacements.
- Perform vehicle inspections and pre-purchase inspections.
- Use scan tools and other diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
- Conduct road tests to confirm repairs have been completed correctly.




- Complete repair and service documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, protected and organised workshop.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear information regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Skills and Experience

- Relevant qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working as an Automotive Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Experience servicing and repairing a variety of makes and models.
- Ability to use automotive diagnostic scan tools and workshop equipment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
