Holsworthy Preschool is a proud community based service where every child is valued, respected and supported to thrive. We provide holistic, play rich learning that nurtures curiosity, wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging. We're seeking a passionate, experienced and dedicated Diploma or Certificate III Educator to join our team full time in 2027, Monday to Friday, 8:00–4:00. Operating during school terms and providing high quality early learning for children aged 3–5, we're looking for someone who values child safety, creates engaging learning environments, and thrives in a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

Plan and implement programs for children 3-5 years in a centre-based setting

Record observations and maintain children's records

Create engaging learning environments that support child safety and wellbeing

Work in accordance with service policies and procedures

Support children with additional needs and create culturally responsive and inclusive environments

Collaborate with team members and communicate with families from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds

Uphold children's rights, agency and safety at all times

Hold a current Working with Children's Check

Have an ACECQA-approved early childhood Diploma or Certificate III





Hold a current first aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma certificate

Hold Certificate of attendance/attainment "Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm"

Hold mandatory child safety training certificates

Have at least 1 year experience

Robust communication, collaboration, organisation and documentation skills

Understanding of The Early Years Learning Framework (ELYF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

Commitment to upholding children's rights, agency and safety at all times

Commitment to ongoing professional development
