About the Role:
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative allied health team specialising in neurological conditions, working across wellbeing centres in Hawthorn East and Footscray, Melbourne, VIC. Full time and part time arrangements are both open.
We are particularly keen to hear from clinicians with NDIS experience, including working with participants in both community-based and wellbeing centre settings. You will deliver community Occupational Therapy across NDIS and Aged Care funding, helping clients break down barriers, achieve their goals and live well.
- Deliver high quality Occupational Therapy services in the community and in wellbeing centre settings, across NDIS and Aged Care funding
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop plans to improve independence, employment and wellbeing
- Deliver services within individual client budgets and support clients to progress towards their goals
- Prescribe assistive technology and home modifications for clients living with a neurological condition
- Write detailed, person-centred reports and documentation that support clients' needs and goals
- Promote continuous improvement and best practice
- Recommend clinically justified solutions that empower clients to balance risk and reward

About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Experience providing NDIS services, including community-based and wellbeing centre settings (highly regarded)
- Experience in the disability or health sector (preferred)
- Consumer focused, determined, self-disciplined, resilient and adaptable
- Collaborative, with a genuine passion for improving the lives of people with neurological conditions
- Valid driver's licence
- Willing to complete an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Disability Workers Exclusion Check, National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Eligible to work in Australia
