⚙️ Heavy Diesel Fitters | Diggers & Drills | Up to $95/hr

Mader is looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our growing Specialist Services team across Queensland.

This is a great opportunity for fitters who enjoy problem solving, diagnostics and working across a range of mining equipment, with a strong focus on hydraulic excavators/diggers and drilling equipment.

About the role

This is not a standard single-site position. You’ll work across breakdowns, shutdowns, planned maintenance and field service, gaining exposure to a diverse range of mining equipment and sites.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience on:

- Hydraulic excavators / diggers

- Drills – Sandvik, Epiroc and similar

- CAT

- Komatsu

- Hitachi

- Liebherr

- Terex

Key responsibilities

- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on heavy mining equipment

- Breakdown repairs and field service support

- Shutdown and planned maintenance

- Preventative maintenance and component change-outs

- Working across multiple mine sites and equipment types

- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and reliability

What we’re looking for

- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent

- Solid digger/excavator or drill experience highly regarded





- Minimum 3 years post-trade experience

- Strong mining or OEM background

- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
