About the role:

The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring, investigating and responding to security events across RWC's global technology environment.

The primary focus of the role is security operations, including alert monitoring, incident investigation,



threat analysis and response activities. In addition, the role will support the administration and continuous improvement of cybersecurity technologies across the APAC region, working closely with infrastructure, support and global cybersecurity teams.

This role provides an opportunity to develop both operational and technical cybersecurity skills while contributing to the security, stability and ongoing improvement of the APAC IT environment.

This position will primarily be involved in an office environment and supports a 24x7 cybersecurity and IT operation. At times you may be required to work weekends, evening/night shifts, and some holidays on occasion.

Whilst this role reports to the IT Manager, we operate as one global team in RWC, so you will be part of a broader team of IT professionals based locally and globally. You will enjoy being innovative and thinking outside the box and be comfortable to respectfully challenge the norm.

What you will need to do:

- Monitor and investigate alerts across security platforms and vulnerability management solutions.

- Classify, triage and respond to security incidents following established procedures.

- Monitor account activity, authentication events and access-related alerts.

- Manage vulnerability management activities including vulnerability review, risk assessment, reporting and remediation tracking.

- Review and communicate vulnerability findings and remediation recommendations.

- Work with infrastructure, applications and support teams to coordinate patching and remediation activities.

- Document and manage security incidents,



requests and investigations through service management platforms.

- Analyse security events and identify trends, emerging threats and areas of concern.

- Coordinate incident response activities with regional and global IT teams.

- Participate in the global follow-the-sun cybersecurity support model.

- Support administration of enterprise network security, threat detection and security monitoring platforms.

- Support security configuration, administration and maintenance of identity, access management and authentication platforms.

- Support the administration and continuous improvement of the vulnerability management platform.

- Assist with patch management governance and vulnerability remediation programs across the APAC region.

About you:

- Completed tertiary studies in an IT-related field. IT and security certifications are a plus.

- Demonstrated experience in Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Networking or Systems Administration roles.

- Experience monitoring and responding to cybersecurity incidents in an enterprise environment. Experience administering or supporting security technologies and controls.

- Exposure to enterprise directory services, identity management and cloud-based productivity environments.

- Strong initiative, demonstrated by accomplishing tasks, improving current work processes, and assisting others when necessary.

- This position requires curiosity, rapid learning abilities, and a desire to help where needed.

- Willingness and ability to learn new related skills and programs as needed.

- High-enthusiasm, can-do attitude, creativity, initiative, and innovation.

- Strong ability to move quick, prioritise, and manage multiple project tasks at a time.

- Good written & verbal communication skills; Ability/learn to translate technical issues and concepts into business language. Regular and timely communication of request/incident status.
