About the opportunity:
We have an exciting part time opportunity in our Hurstville clinic for a passionate Allied Health Assistant to join our growing team. Working 2-3 days a week inclusive of Tuesday and Friday, however we will consider any working days for the most suitable candidate.
We are a team of multidisciplinary clinicians, working in one of our three outpatient clinics and community-based rehab service covering most of Metro Sydney.
Over the last 20 years, we have built a reputation as one of the most progressive neurological rehab services in Australia - winning the Australian Allied Health Adult Practice Excellence Award in 2019 and the Allied Health Team Culture Excellence Award in 2021. Our rehab centers are located in Artarmon and Hurstville.
You would be implementing therapy programs prescribed by physiotherapists, occupational therapists and/or exercise physiologists. Handover sessions are provided for each client. We support clients with stroke and other acquired brain injuries, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injuries and other neurological conditions - both acute/early in diagnosis and chronic stages.
Your role would also support the smooth, day to day running of our therapy services.

Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Australian working rights
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Previous experience working with older people or people with disabilities, OR previous experience as an Allied Health Assistant, OR previous experience working in a health care or social services setting, OR previous experience working with people with neurological conditions
- Criminal record check
- NDIS worker check and Working With Children Check (reimbursed by ARC)
