About the role

THIRTY-NINE ALEXANDER PTY LTD is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on position based in Port Pirie, SA, offering flexibility for those seeking casual work in the hospitality and housekeeping sector. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities, ensuring guests and visitors enjoy a welcoming and well-maintained environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to our reputation and the satisfaction of those we serve.

What you'll be doing

- Performing daily cleaning and sanitisation of all areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas and public spaces

- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sweeping floors to maintain spotless conditions

- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers and tiled surfaces

- Changing bed linens and preparing rooms to the required standard

- Emptying waste bins and disposing of rubbish appropriately

- Restocking cleaning supplies and reporting any maintenance issues

- Following all health, safety and hygiene protocols and procedures

- Working efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules and deadlines

- Reporting any damages or issues to management promptly

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role within the hospitality sector or similar environment

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet cleaning schedules

- Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout a shift

- Reliable,

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning products, equipment and safety procedures

- Flexibility to work casual hours as required

- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one (if applicable)
