Your New Role
You will be responsible for:

- Delivering quality assurance and quality control activities to support accurate, consistent and high-quality decision-making outcomes.
- Providing technical advice and guidance on complex operational, policy and quality matters, ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Leading, mentoring and coaching team members to build capability, improve decision quality and drive high performance.
- Monitoring, analysing and reporting on quality trends, risks and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and support informed decision-making.
- Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, quality frameworks and process enhancements that strengthen service delivery outcomes.
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, managing escalations and representing the branch in discussions relating to quality, planning and operational excellence.





What You Will Need to Succeed

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Strong ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy, procedures and quality standards to support consistent, compliant and high-quality decision-making.
- Experience conducting quality assurance activities, identifying risks, analysing trends and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational outcomes.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and coach staff, building capability and fostering a culture of quality, accountability and continuous learning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, manage escalations and provide practical solutions and advice.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence, educate and collaborate effectively across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- A background in disability, aged care, veterans' services (DVA), allied health, early childhood, or other sensitive settings is highly regarded.

The Logistics

- 12-month contract (possibility of extension or permanency).
- APS6 rate: $60.26 per hour + super.
- EL1 rate: $602.55 per day + super.
- Flexible working location - this prospect is available across Australia (excluding WA).
- Australian Citizenship is required.
