About the Role

What you'll be doing:
- Coordinating team meetings and events
- Managing team inboxes and supporting key systems and processes
- Supporting budget tracking, invoices, expenses and procurement, including liaising with external service providers
- Maintaining accurate records, supporting with records management, and assisting with reporting
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and induction tasks
- Organising travel and accommodation for team members and external stakeholders
- Other duties as required

About the Restorative Engagement and School Support Branch
The Restorative Engagement and School Support (RESS) branch sits within the Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance division and is responsible for supporting Victorian government schools and the department respond to current and historical incidents of child sexual abuse by an adult working in a Victorian government school. The Branch has two units:
- The Sexual Harm Response unit which supports schools and other areas of the department respond to allegations, findings,
and charges of child sexual abuse by an adult working in a Victorian government school, with a focus on child safety and wellbeing
- The Restorative Engagement and Support unit which is responsible for a number of streams of work providing information and assistance to former students who experienced sexual abuse in a Victorian government school, including a website and telephone service for victim-survivors, a restorative engagement program, and supporting schools to engage with former students who are victim-survivors of abuse with sensitivity, respect and accountability.
The branch manages a variety of functions to support its two work units including the department's counselling assistance payments for current and former students who have experienced child sexual abuse by an adult working in a government school, the branch's case and records management system, and reporting to senior leaders on the work of the branch.
About the Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance Division
The Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance (OPSEC) Division supports and empowers school leaders and others to understand and navigate and meet complex policy and regulatory requirements, and to foster engagement and trust in the department.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience
Experience providing high-quality administrative support and using Microsoft Office applications is a requirement for this role.
