Stone Art Australia are looking for an organised, proactive and driven Workflow Coordinator to join our fast-paced stone manufacturing and fabrication business.
This is a key role within our production team, responsible for ensuring jobs move smoothly, accurately and efficiently from order through to completion and ready for installation.
THE ROLE
As our Workflow Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day flow of jobs through the factory, working closely with staff members, production manager and scheduling teams.
You will ensure everyone knows what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and what is required to keep the job moving.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and monitor jobs from order through production
- Schedule and prioritize production workflows
- Liaise with drafting, production and installation teams
- Ensure jobs are ready for each stage of production
- Monitor deadlines and identify potential delays before they become issues
- Coordinate material requirements and job information
- Ensure drawings, measurements and job specifications are available and correct
- Communicate changes and updates to relevant team members
- Track jobs through the production process
- Coordinate installation schedules and site requirements
- Follow up outstanding information, approvals and materials
- Maintain accurate job records and production schedules
- Help improve factory efficiency, communication and workflow processes
- Problem-solve issues quickly in a high-pressure environment
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and excellent at prioritizing
- Confident communicating with multiple teams
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive rather than reactive
- Not scared to get there hands dirty
- A solid problem solver
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
- Computer literate and confident using scheduling and job management systems
- Able to manage multiple jobs and priorities simultaneously
- Someone who takes ownership and follows jobs through to completion
Experience in stone fabrication, construction, manufacturing, cabinetry, joinery or a similar production environment would be highly regarded.
