About the role:

This role is a key member of our Brand, Clients & Markets (BCM) team. Our BCM team work across the practice to develop and deliver the BD & Marketing strategy, positioning the practice in market to win work and keep our clients.

This role will work closely with our BD Managers (BDMs) and BD Advisers (BDAs) across the practice to:

Markets

- Work with the BD, Brand & Communications and CX & Events team on campaigns and activities that profile CBP's expertise, engage intended audience and drive demand activity.
- Plan for and prepare capability statements and work with teams on larger tenders and bids.



Maintain CVs and the central experience database.
- Coordinate the practice's response to directory submissions, and at times draft responses.
- Support large flagship events and campaign activities, including sponsorships.
- Manage smaller events and sponsorships across the portfolio.
- Prepare market research and reporting.

Clients

- Undertake an account coordinator role for the practice's Elevate client program. Support the account planning process and associated activities, reporting, and contract and tender administration.
- Support the client listening activities for groups, including preparing for client listening meetings and post meeting actions.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis on clients, revenue, marketing performance and other metrics.
- Sit on the CRM transition workgroup, and become a 'super user' of our CRM.

Strategy & Planning

- Support the BCM team and partners to develop practice and industry group workplans and progress group BD and marketing activities. This may include organising planning sessions, preparing agendas, content and research. At times participate in the sessions, ensuring plans are documented.

Culture & Team

- Develop an understanding of the practice's drivers, strategy and external and internal factors that contribute to the future success of the practice and the individual groups the BDC works with.
- Play a coordination role for the BD team including supporting BD team initiatives, projects and activities.
- Establish and develop respected relationships across the practice.
- Be conscious of working style and that of stakeholders and colleagues.
- Actively contribute to the culture within the BCM team and the support of team members.
- Represent the BCM team in CBP's cross-practice workgroups, committees and project teams where required.
- Act as a contact for team members across the practice on BCM matters.

The successful candidate will have:





- Minimum 2 years' experience in BD & Marketing roles.
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, commerce or business.
- A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive mindset, with excellent client service and client-centric approach.
- Commercial nous, with an interest in the economy and the mechanics of business, and learning about legal practice.
- An organised approach to managing workloads and prioritisation, a focus on goal setting and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, teams and individuals.
- Career oriented and passionate about skilled services BD & Marketing.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic, with the flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
- Experience working on BD, marketing and CRM-specific activities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Copilot and PowerBi).
- An interest in data gathering and use, artificial intelligence and its application to professional services marketing.
- Experience working with a CRM platform.
