Tracc Civil is an industry leading civil construction and earthmoving company based in Bibra Lake, Western Australia with projects spread throughout the Perth Metropolitan Area.
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Leading Hand to join our expanding team!
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years in electrical construction works as a Leading Hand
- Current drivers licence
- Construction Induction (White) Card
- Proven experience operating excavators
- Western Power Basic Network Authority, Operational Induction and Substation Entry qualifications highly regarded.
- Experience of working around electrical infrastructure including power cable hauling, installation and handling (preferred but not essential)
- Outstanding leadership attributes and specialist technical expertise, with an adaptable, positive approach and the ability to work collaboratively with a friendly, supportive crew.
- Basic computing skills including email and organisational management systems
- Ability to read drawings, plan works and coordinate resources.
- Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise crews to deliver high-quality electrical works safely and efficiently
- Plan and coordinate daily tasks in line with project schedules and priorities
- Communicate clearly with site staff, subcontractors and management to keep work flowing
- Monitor materials, resources and plant to ensure smooth site operations
- Run pre-starts and support compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
- Identify and resolve issues on site, taking initiative to keep projects on track
- Use company software and systems to complete reporting and site documentation
- Lead pre-start meetings and uphold safety, environmental and quality standards, with confidence using iPads to complete digital pre-starts, SWMS/JHAs, site diaries and other project documentation.
- Promote and uphold Tracc Civil’s values, leading by example in conduct and performance
