You'll work closely with an experienced and supportive Finance Operations Team Leader who is genuinely invested in the development and progression of their team.

About the role

Reporting to the Finance Operations Team Leader, you'll join a close-knit finance team and progressively take ownership of a broader range of accounting responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing Accounts Payable for domestic and overseas suppliers
- Processing invoices and managing approval workflows
- Coordinating weekly supplier payment runs
- Processing operating expenses and rent payments
- Managing employee expenses and corporate credit cards
- Managing intercompany transactions and overseas payments
- Performing bank and intercompany reconciliations
- Supporting month-end / EOM close, including journals and reconciliations




- Assisting with fixed asset accounting and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the annual fixed asset audit
- Assisting with OPEX monitoring and budgeting
- Supporting annual budget preparation and budget rounds
- Providing support across Accounts Receivable and broader accounting functions
- Assisting with internal and external audit requirements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting broader finance processes

What we're looking for

This role is suited to an Accounts Payable or Accounts Officer professional who is ready to take the next step in their accounting career.

A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related accounting discipline is mandatory for this position.

You will also have:

- 2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Officer or a similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- A genuine desire to progress into an Assistant Accountant position
- Good Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to take ownership of your work
- A proactive and positive attitude
- A genuine team-player mentality
- A willingness to learn and take on broader accounting responsibilities

You don't need to know everything from day one.

What matters is that you have a strong AP foundation, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and the ambition to develop into a broader accounting role.
