Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking a motivated 2nd Year Panel Beating Apprentice to join one of our host employers in Willetton, WA.

This is a fantastic opportunity to continue your apprenticeship in an established automotive collision repair workshop, working alongside experienced tradespeople while developing your practical skills in vehicle body repairs, panel replacement and collision restoration.

You'll continue working towards your AUR32120 Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology, gaining valuable industry experience and building the skills needed to become a qualified Panel Beater.

Applicants must have commenced a Panel Beating apprenticeship and be at a 2nd Year level.

What You'll Be Doing

As a 2nd Year Panel Beating Apprentice, you'll continue developing your practical skills while working alongside qualified tradespeople.

Your duties will include:

- Inspecting vehicles and identifying body damage.

- Removing, repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels.

- Assisting with straightening and realigning vehicle body components.

- Using specialist panel beating tools and workshop equipment.

- Assisting with minor and major collision repairs.

- Repairing dents and damaged body panels.

- Preparing repaired panels for refinishing.

- Removing and refitting vehicle components and accessories.

- Following manufacturer repair procedures and specifications.

- Developing your understanding of vehicle body structures and repair techniques.

- Following workplace health and safety procedures.

- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

About You

We're looking for someone who is motivated, reliable and committed to continuing their career in automotive body repair.

To be successful, you'll have:

- Previous experience as a Panel Beating Apprentice, with training completed to a 2nd Year level.

- A genuine interest in automotive body repairs and collision restoration.

- A willingness to continue learning and developing your trade skills.

- Experience using basic panel beating tools and workshop equipment.

- Positive attention to detail and pride in your work.





- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- A reliable and professional approach to work.

- The ability to follow instructions and work safely.

- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Good communication and time management skills.

- A current driver's licence (P1 or above preferred).

- The ability to reliably travel to Willetton, WA.
