Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance across the business. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a energetic environment.

About your new role

- Statutory requirements and compliance including BAS, FBT, Payroll tax

- General ledger maintenance and reconciliations

- Manage bank accounts, credit cards and banking relationship

- Mentoring of junior staff

- Preparation of end of month reporting

- Ad doc duties as needed

About you

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting.

- Minimum three years’ experience in an accounting role.

- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices

- Sound proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel





- Experience working to a deadline and prioritising workload

- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

- Ability to interact with stakeholders

- Professionally mannered with good written and verbal communication skills

- Willing to learn with a positive approach to tasks and a strong attention to detail

- Strong organisational skills and able to work both independently and part of a team
