About the Role
We are currently seeking a QHSE Coordinator to join our World of Energy business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive QHSE professional who is passionate about driving continuous improvement, influencing positive safety cultures and partnering with operational teams to enhance quality, safety and environmental performance across Australia and Papua New Guinea. The role serves as a key point of contact for QHSE matters and works closely with leaders and employees to embed best practice into everyday operations.
Reporting to the QHSE Manager, you will coordinate Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental activities across our Industry Services, Caleb Brett and Exploration & Production operations.
You will play an important role in supporting compliance, improving systems and processes, delivering training, facilitating investigations and helping create a workplace where safety and quality are at the center of everything we do.

This will involve:
- Coordinate and support the implementation and continuous improvement of QHSE management systems across multiple operational environments.
- Partner with operational teams to integrate QHSE requirements into day-to-day business activities.
- Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and organisational requirements.
- Conduct audits, inspections and compliance reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support risk assessments, hazard identification and risk mitigation activities.
- Lead or assist incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Develop and deliver QHSE training, awareness programs and safety initiatives.
- Monitor, analyse and report on key QHSE performance indicators.
- Support emergency preparedness, response planning and business resilience activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a proactive reporting culture.
- Maintain effective communication and reporting on QHSE performance and outcomes.
- Contribute to sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.
- Travel as required to support audits, inspections and operational activities.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of accreditation and certification programs (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 17020, and ISO 45001).
- Experience working within Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
- Knowledge of relevant QHSE legislation,
standards and industry best practices.
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, risk assessments and investigations.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- The ability to influence, coach and build effective working relationships across diverse teams.
- A commitment to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Relevant qualifications, certifications or training in QHSE, Safety, Quality, Science or a related discipline.
- Experience in emergency response planning and incident investigation will be highly regarded.
- Ability to travel interstate as required, including FIFO sites.
