About the role
As a Procure to Pay Officer, you’ll coordinate procurement transactions and accounts payable activities, including but not limited to purchase orders, invoice processing, GR/IR low-value and low-risk supply arrangements and corporate credit cards.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring goods and services are ordered efficiently, invoices are paid within agreed terms, and procurement activities meet SA Power Networks requirements. Working across multiple systems, you’ll maintain accurate purchase order and invoice records, support compliance and help deliver strong commercial outcomes.
Reporting to the Team Leader Procure to Pay Shared Services, this fixed-term role offers the opportunity to build broad experience across procurement and finance operations while supporting internal stakeholders and maintaining positive supplier relationships.
This is a 12-month fixed term role

About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
Essential:
- Experience across end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori, including sourcing, purchasing, purchase orders, GR/IR reconciliation, invoices, accounts payable, payments, vendor relationships and process improvement.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet targets.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a customer-focused and cooperative approach.
- Sound judgement, attention to detail, and a commitment to governance, compliance, financial controls, policies and accurate processing.
- Ability to improve processes, resolve complex issues and support better procurement, finance and operational outcomes.
Desirable:
- Experience using SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori across Finance and Source-to-Pay processes.
Experience with Materials Management and Plant Maintenance modules is highly regarded.
- Experience across end-to-end Procurement and Source-to-Pay processes in SAP, including contracts, suppliers, purchase orders, GR/IR, invoices, reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, corporate credit cards, payments and financial governance.
