Senior Manager - Operations, Facilities (East)

Lead the delivery of complex hard facilities management services across a broad East Coast portfolio. This senior leadership role is responsible for client partnerships, operational performance, safety, commercial outcomes and service improvement across remote villages and associated infrastructure. Role can be located in NSW, QLD or VIC.

Role Requirements

- Lead Hard FM operations across a large, geographically dispersed portfolio of sites and facilities on the East coast.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients, taking ownership of service delivery, performance and issue resolution.
- Provide leadership and management oversight across maintenance services, asset performance, reporting and operational delivery.
- Ensure contractual obligations, performance standards and client KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Develop asset management, capital replacement and sustainability strategies that support long-term client requirements.
- Maintain strong financial control across revenue, costs, margins, budgets, planned maintenance and reactive maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, increase revenue, recover costs and grow the FM portfolio.
- Oversee subcontractor performance where required,



along with compliance and reporting.
- Lead, coach and develop Area Leaders and Operational teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
- Champion safety leadership and ensure governance of HSE and regulatory requirements across all FM operations.

The Perfect Candidate

- Brings a minimum of 10 years’ experience within facilities, project or asset management in a variety of commercial settings.
- Extensive senior leadership experience delivering complex FM or technical services across multiple locations.
- Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of building maintenance practices, asset management and applicable legislation.
- Strong safety operations background
- Combines commercial acumen with managing budgets, contracts, financial performance and cost recovery.
- Highly skilled in client relationship management and can translate client needs into practical operational solutions.
- Can identify new business opportunities and contribute to tenders, additional services and portfolio growth.
- Confident using business systems and project management tools to maintain efficient, well-controlled operations.
- Ideally holds a relevant degree or trade qualification.
