About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tekla Structural Designer / Draftsperson with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys producing high-quality 3D models and detailed 2D drawings while working closely with engineers on a wide range of structural projects.

You will play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant, and practical design solutions across diverse engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, detail, and maintain 3D structural models in Tekla, ensuring accuracy and constructability

- Produce high-quality 2D drawings from 3D models in accordance with client requirements, project specifications, and industry standards

- Review and verify models and drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality

- Collaborate closely with engineers to deliver efficient and practical design solutions, including support during quoting stages

- Coordinate structural design activities to ensure smooth integration within overall project workflows

- Perform quality checks and provide technical support on design deliverables





- Prepare and review detailed design documentation in line with project schedules and guidelines

- Work collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure seamless design integration

- Participate in progress reporting, client meetings, and supplier discussions as required

- Conduct site visits for laser scanning, inspections, and other site-based activities

- Work on client premises when required as part of an integrated project team

- Undertake additional tasks as needed to support project objectives and delivery

What We’re Looking For

- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Drafting and Design or a related qualification

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in structural design and detailing using Tekla

- Proven ability to produce accurate 3D models and 2D drawings to a high professional standard

- Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and their practical application

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
