Synergie Australia is seeking an AO4 Learning and Development Officer for a trusted government client located in the Brisbane CBD.

The important parts:

Pay: $60–$65 per hour + Super | ⏳ Duration: Contract from 26 October 2026 to 30 June 2026 (potential for extension)

What you will be required to do:

- Support the development, implementation and review of learning programs
- Undertake desktop research and recommend improvements to learning processes
- Enrol employees in training and respond to learner enquiries
- Coordinate training logistics, including rooms, printing and catering
- Administer and maintain information in the learner management system
- Assist with tracking, analysing and auditing learning activities and resources
- Review preferred supplier lists and identify suitable training providers
- Maintain training trackers and follow up on invoices
- Report on learner attendance and program evaluation results
- Prepare reports, presentations, guides and other learning materials
- Produce accurate minutes, agendas, emails and internal correspondence
- Support regional officers and team members with program delivery
- Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage competing priorities and meet important deadlines

To be successful in the role you will:

- Previous experience supporting learning and development activities
- Strong administrative and logistical coordination capabilities
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders




- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience operating in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to move between tasks and respond to changing priorities
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint
- Experience administering a learning or learner management system
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is desirable
