Iceman Group of Companies offers over 40 years’ experience in servicing the transport industry. Within Iceman Group of Companies, Transport Innovators is responsible for the servicing and repairs of transport trailers.
We are looking for a Trades Assistant who wants to learn and develop their skill set within welding and fabrication for heavy vehicle and trailer repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting our fabrication team and leading hand with repair work
- Handling tools, materials and metal cutting equipment
- General site and workshop duties - including keeping work areas clean and organised
- Preparing work areas, tooling and materials for repairs

About You
- Some basic welding ability or experience (Do not need to be qualified)
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Reliable, practical, and willing to help where needed
- Forklift licence, HR licence and/or MR licence advantageous but not essential
