About the role

The Junior Key Account Manager sells Sarens' crane rental and project services to new and existing customers, working towards the targets set in the sales plan. The role manages an assigned portfolio of smaller and transactional accounts, mainly in rental, and supports Key Account Managers on larger accounts and project tenders. Under the guidance of the Depot Manager and Senior Key Account Managers, the Junior Key Account Manager develops the technical, commercial, and customer relationship skills needed to manage a full account portfolio independently, in full compliance with Sarens Group SHEQ standards.

Key responsibilities

- Ensure all executed activities and processes comply with Sarens' SHEQ requirements, including the Policy Statement, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Life Saving Rules, Last Minute Risk Assessments (LMRA), the Stop and Consult process, and local legislation

- Visit customer sites and locations and complete a Workplace Performance Indicator (WPI) on a regular basis via the SHEQ reporting platform

- Achieve the sales targets set for an assigned portfolio of customers, mainly in crane rental, as agreed with the Depot Manager

- Proactively contact and visit customers to create leads and prospects, with a focus on cranes and equipment coming off hire in the coming months to support fleet occupation targets

- Generate leads and RFQs, prepare and submit quotations within delegated limits, and follow up to close orders





- Offer additional services from the Sarens product and service portfolio to grow revenue with existing customers

- Support Key Account Managers with project enquiries, tenders, and calculations, working with the proposals team

- Prepare explicit, accurate quotations using standard pricing and templates, and escalate non-standard terms to the Depot Manager

- Register and update visits, quotes, and order intake in the CRM on time, ensuring data quality

- Hand over orders, including all necessary information, to the Operations or Depot Manager in a timely manner

About you

- Microsoft Office applications; willingness to learn CRM and ERP systems

- Fluent in English; current driver's licence
