At Deck Chair Cruising, we help Australian holidaymakers plan and book incredible cruise adventures. Because our inbound enquiry volume is steadily growing, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Cruise Sales Consultant to join our close-knit Springwood team.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Guiding Eager Holidaymakers: Connect with warm phone, web, and email enquiries to recommend the right cruise lines, itineraries, cabin categories, and packages (Princess, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, and more).

- Consultative Follow-Up:



Build genuine rapport, help clients navigate options, answer questions with confidence, and secure their bookings.

- End-to-End Booking Care: Process bookings directly with cruise line systems, handle payments, and issue clear, accurate travel documentation.

- Contributing to Team Success: Share insights, celebrate milestones, and help build a positive, ambitious desk environment.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants from two distinct backgrounds:

1. The Experienced Travel Consultant

- Background in retail travel, cruise reservations, or wholesale booking.

- Looking to step away from unpredictable retail floor shifts into a specialised, cruise-focused sales role.

OR

2. The Proven Sales Skilled & Avid Cruiser

- Background in consultative phone sales, customer service sales, or relationship-driven roles (e.g., insurance, finance, high-ticket retail).

- Real-world cruising experience: You’ve sailed before, know your way around deck plans and cabin categories, and genuinely love talking travel.

- A naturally curious learner who takes pride in product knowledge and picks up digital tools and CRMs quickly.
