Join a high-profile Australian Government department that supports government outcomes across a broad range of policy and operational areas. You'll work within the ICT Division on a major identity and access management modernisation program.

Your recent role
As the Technical Program/Project Manager, you'll lead the delivery of a complex Identity and Access Management Modernisation project. The program will transition legacy Microsoft Identity Manager and AD FS arrangements to a cloud-ready architecture centred on Microsoft Entra ID. You'll manage planning, schedules, budgets, governance, risks, suppliers and delivery across multiple technical work streams. You'll also coordinate architecture, cybersecurity, testing, procurement, change, deployment and operational readiness activities.

What you'll need to succeed

- Current Baseline security clearance
- Experience delivering complex ICT projects from discovery through transition
- Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting and governance capabilities




- Experience managing risks, dependencies, suppliers and delivery performance
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical and business teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive reporting skills
- Government IAM, cybersecurity or technology modernisation experience is desirable
- PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM or equivalent certification is desirable
