House of Haylo is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team across our South Perth and Bull Creek salons.

We’re not looking for someone who simply wants an admin role.

We’re looking for someone who loves making things run well, a natural organiser and problem solver who can bring together people, systems and client experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy salon business.

At House of Haylo, we combine beautiful, high-end hair with a low-tox and sustainable approach and behind that experience is a strong team, great systems and a lot of moving pieces.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with the Directors, you'll help oversee the day-to-day operations across both House of Haylo locations and become a key point of contact for our team, clients and external partners.

Your role will include:

- Overseeing day-to-day salon operations, systems and workflows

- Managing client enquiries across phone, email and social channels

- Supporting bookings and resolving client concerns professionally

- Managing and troubleshooting our salon software and online systems

- Overseeing our online store and e-commerce operations

- Stock management, ordering and supplier liaison

- Preparing and reviewing key business and performance reports

- Supporting HR, recruitment, onboarding and team administration

- Liaising with our marketing team to coordinate promotions and campaigns

- Helping identify ways to improve systems, sales, client experience and overall business performance

You’ll work across both our South Perth and Bull Creek salons, with flexibility to be based where you’re needed most.





You don't need to know our systems from day one.

About you

You are:

- An experienced manager with a background in salons, beauty, wellness,



retail or another client-focused business

- Highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities

- Experienced in customer service and comfortable handling client concerns

- Confident with online booking systems, software and technology

- Commercially minded, with an understanding of sales and business performance

- A strong communicator who is warm, professional and approachable

- Comfortable supporting a team and handling day-to-day HR and administrative matters

- Proactive and able to work independently without needing constant direction

- Calm under pressure and confident solving problems as they arise

- Able to work flexibly between our South Perth and Bull Creek locations

Previous salon management or hairdressing experience would be highly regarded, but isn't essential. If you've successfully managed another busy, client-focused business and understand great customer service, people and operations, we'd still love to hear from you.
