The Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Kitchen Hand to join the team within our organic wholefoods restaurant.

Working closely with our chefs and front-of-house team, you will play an important role in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently, safely and to the exceptionally high standards expected at Saint Haven.

Our restaurant operates seven days a week across breakfast and lunch service, alongside takeaway meals and catering.

Key responsibilities include:
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety throughout the kitchen
Support the kitchen team with food preparation and day-to-day service
Receive, unpack and correctly store deliveries and stock
Collect and organise stock from dry stores and cool rooms ahead of service
Assist the kitchen and front-of-house teams during busy service periods
Maintain clean, organised and well-presented kitchen and back-of-house areas
Support waste management,



cleaning and end-of-day kitchen close-down procedures
Work collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless member experience

About You

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable and takes genuine pride in maintaining exceptional standards.

You will ideally have:
1–2 years' experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar hospitality environment
Experience working across cleaning, food preparation, stock management and food safety
Strong organisation skills and the ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen
A proactive attitude and willingness to support the broader team wherever required
High standards of cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail
A reliable, consistent and positive approach to work
An interest in high-quality, organic and nutrient-dense food
A genuine appreciation for premium hospitality and exceptional service
Relevant food safety certificates or qualifications where required
