Dispatch / Warehouse Operator - Day Shift

Immediate Start | Ongoing Work | 38 Hours Per Week |

We are urgently seeking an experienced Dispatch/Warehouse Operator to join our client’s team. This is an ASAP start for the right candidate, with ongoing work available.

This is an ongoing casual position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on day shift, with the chance for permanent placement for the right candidate.

About the Role
Working as part of a small team of approximately 5 people, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse and dispatch operations.
Your duties will include:
Picking and packing customer orders
Preparing orders for dispatch
Liaising with freight companies and coordinating deliveries
Using computer systems to manage orders and freight
General warehouse duties
Forklift operation as required
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse workplace

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current Forklift Licence
Previous warehouse, dispatch or logistics experience




Good computer skills and confidence using computer systems
Strong communication skills
Positive attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Reliable and punctual work ethic
Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines

Please note: While a forklift licence is required, this is primarily a warehouse and dispatch role, with forklift driving only required occasionally throughout the day.
