Senior Electrical Fitter
Full-time permanent opportunity
Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week

The Company
Based in Keysborough, our client is a 100% Australian-owned manufacturer specialising in power factor correction, active harmonic filters, static var generators and energy efficiency solutions. With over 30 years of experience, they design and manufacture their own custom-built equipment, supplying some of the most recognised brands across Australia and overseas.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking organisation where you will remain hands-on while also helping coordinate the day-to-day operations of the factory. You will be working in a clean, well-organised facility with a strong focus on quality, teamwork and continued growth and development.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
Building low-voltage Power Factor Correction (PFC) systems
Building Active Harmonic Filters (AHF)
and Static Var Generators (SVG)
Wiring and mechanical assembly according to electrical schematics
Copper busbar fabrication and layout
Coordinating and supervising production staff
Managing stock levels and ordering materials
Planning and meeting production schedules
Assisting with continuous improvement across the factory floor
The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
Electrical trade qualification
Previous experience in electrical switchboard building or a similar electrical fitting role
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience advantageous
Strong organisational skills and ability to plan production workflow
High attention to detail and solid work ethic
Ability to work hands-on while coordinating a team
Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
Hours & rates:
Hours: 38 hours per week with overtime potential
Rate: Up to $65 per hour + overtime + super
