This is a casual position working approximately 2 days per week, generally weekdays. The successful applicant will provide high-quality housekeeping and domestic support within our Sisters' residences.
Key responsibilities
General cleaning and housekeeping
Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common areas
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and other routine cleaning
Laundry and changing bed linen
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
Delivery and service of meals
Other reasonable housekeeping duties as required
About you
Have previous experience in housekeeping, domestic cleaning or a similar role
Are reliable, trustworthy and takes pride in their work
Have a high level of attention to detail
Can work independently and manage their time effectively
Have a respectful understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the lifestyle and practices of women in religious life
Are comfortable working within a religious community and understand the importance of privacy, discretion and respect
Have a warm, compassionate and respectful approach when working with older members of the community
Have good communication skills and a skilled manner
Have a drivers licence and a clean driving record
