A founder-led, Perth headquartered consumer products company is seeking an experienced, commercially minded leader for a newly created Chief Operating Officer role. The role carries responsibility for the operational and financial management of the business as the founders shift their focus to international growth. Built around a recognised product, the company has grown into a global brand sold through retail partners across multiple markets.

Backed by a long-standing private equity investor, the business is well established, with the ambition to more than double in size. Expansion into current markets, with major retailers critical to the plan, is creating a real prospect for a leader to build the cash and working capital discipline that supports it.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Founder and the Board, you will hold a combined finance and operations remit, from P&L; and cash through to supply chain and fulfilment. This is a hands-on role: you will stay close to the numbers, delivering financial reporting, forecasting and cash management, and strengthening the systems behind them. You will also manage key supply chain partners,

support new retail partnerships, and build the team to run the business as it scales.

The ideal candidate has carried P&L; accountability in an inventory-heavy, product-led business, such as consumer, retail, wholesale or distribution, owning revenue and gross margin, not just cost. You will be equally credible with suppliers, retailers and a board, and bring deep supply chain experience. The ability to manage technical financials is essential and a formal accounting or finance qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent) is well regarded. Experience supporting a founder-led, private equity-backed or high-growth business professionalise and scale is a solid advantage.

Join a company with a strong cultural philosophy, during an exciting period of its evolution and help shape the pathway that carries the brand into its next phase.
