Storm Ridge Estate is a boutique winery located in the heart of the beautiful Yarra Valley. We offer premium wines, dining experiences, private functions, weddings and special events in a stunning vineyard setting.
We are currently seeking a passionate, reliable and experienced Full-Time Chef to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality dishes for our cellar door dining service, private functions and special events.
Develop and improve seasonal menus featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking and presentation.
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
Monitor food inventory, manage stock ordering and minimise food waste.
Ensure compliance with Australian food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
Work closely with the management and front-of-house teams to deliver excellent guest experiences.
Assist with catering arrangements for weddings, private functions and winery events.
About You
Previous experience working as a Chef in a restaurant,
winery or hospitality environment.
Relevant culinary qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience preferred).
Ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations efficiently.
Solid organisational and time-management skills.
Creativity and passion for food preparation and presentation.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Availability to work weekends and public holidays when required.
A valid Australian working visa or full working rights.
