Permanent Part Time Position Available for experienced Bookkeeper!

Based at The Lakes Resort Cairns

About the role

This is a hands-on bookkeeping role supporting multiple sites and businesses within Sunshine Group Australia. You will be based at The Lakes Resort Cairns, providing bookkeeping support across several Sunshine Group Australia sites. The role requires someone who is organised, confident managing multiple accounts and entities, and comfortable working across a diverse range of operations.

Key responsibilities
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Processing invoices, payments and expenses
Payroll support
Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple sites
Assisting with BAS, GST and end-of-month reporting
Supplier statement reconciliations
Following up outstanding invoices, receipts and supporting documentation
Assisting our Finance Manager and management team with financial reporting and general accounts administration
Ensuring records are accurate,



current and properly maintained

About you
Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience
Solid practical experience using MYOB
Experience managing accounts across multiple businesses, entities or locations would be highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Confidence working independently and managing competing deadlines
Positive Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Skilled communication skills
A high level of discretion when handling confidential financial information
Experience within property management, real estate, accommodation or hospitality would be an advantage but is not essential
