Epworth HealthCare is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Grade 1 or Grade 2 Occupational Therapists to join our weekday casual pool, supporting our Acute Occupational Therapy teams across Epworth Richmond and Epworth Freemasons (East Melbourne).
This is a fantastic chance to work flexibly across a diverse range of acute clinical areas, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a agile hospital environment. You’ll be part of a supportive team and gain exposure to a broad caseload, including surgical, medical, orthopaedic, and neurological presentations. We’re looking for Occupational Therapists who are adaptable, team-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in acute care.
You will make an impact by:
Working closely alongside the interdisciplinary team on the ward/s
Providing clinical care based on best available evidence
Having well-developed organisational and planning skills
Being able to interact and collaborate with all members of a multidisciplinary team
To be successful in this role you:
Be available for both short and longer periods of leave coverage during the working week
Be proficient in assessment, management, and discharge planning of patients across a range of clinical areas
Demonstrate accountability with a strong, supportive and engaging communication style
Relevant hospital experience as an Occupational Therapist
Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
