We are seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing construction projects to ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and manage construction projects from commencement through to completion.
Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets and work programs.
Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
Review construction plans, specifications, drawings and project documentation.
Monitor project costs, resources and timelines and address any variations or delays.
Oversee procurement and delivery of materials, equipment and services required for projects.
Monitor construction progress and ensure works are completed in accordance with project requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, WHS requirements, quality standards and company procedures.
Conduct site inspections and project meetings and resolve construction-related issues.
Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, consultants and relevant authorities.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
Minimum 12 months of full time relevant work experience in construction/project management.
Previous experience coordinating construction projects, contractors and project stakeholders.
Sound understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, budgeting and cost control.
Robust project management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Valuable attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
